The Black Death, or also known as the great plague, was one of the most devastating disasters that could ever happen in history. The number of deaths it is accounted for is around 75 to 200 million people from around 1347 to 1351 peaking in Eurasia to Europe.
In October 2018, a professor named Peter Frankopan warned people of a disease that could be reawakened because of global warming. The professor stated that if the earth's temperature rises above 1.5℃, permafrost in the arctic will melt and could unleash deadly bacteria that has been buried for a millenia. Peter warned there was absolutely no chance of keeping global temperature rises under 1.5℃.
