Its That Time of the Year Again!¨ For all of us, this school year started off a little different….we now stay home and use computers and go through the struggles of distance learning. We are now starting this new year without being in a classroom setting and instead learning from our homes. We are distanced from our classmates and it is difficult to adapt to. It’s not the same as seeing our friends on a computer rather than in a classroom. It's difficult to adapt to but it’s for our own safety and well being.
The thing I like about this is that I don’t have to leave my house, but I also miss the ¨traditional¨ way of school. We don’t have the experience of making new friends as we used to at the beginning of every school year. It´s funny how this world is beginning to operate mostly through the use of technology. I guess that’s a plus during this pandemic, if not we would be missing out on our education.
Once we go back to school, it will be different because we got used to a different way of learning. During this Coronavirus pandemic, if we would be in school we would be wearing masks all day, and that I find very uncomfortable. Also, there is that chance of getting infected. What I enjoy about being at home is that I can eat whatever I want because cafeteria food is not always the best and we don’t have to go through those long lunch lines just to get our food. That´s something that I am currently.
So...I guess it’s only a matter of time as to when we go back to school and experience the traditional way of being in classrooms and meet our teachers physically.
