Drone racing is a sport where you compete against other people's drones and go through obstacles and whoever crosses the finish line first wins. The tracks run for a long distance so how do they know where the are going. They see by using virtual reality so they can be in the drone's perspective.
For drone racing if you get first place you can win up to $250,000. The cost to join a race is $200 also, if you don't have a drone you can buy one for $200. There are just more than normal racing. There is drag racing and it’s mostly about the speed of the drone . The drag racing drones can hit up to 179 miles per hour. Drone racing started in about 2015. Drone racing has also been aired on live TV. For some people drone racing is an interesting sport.
